Bowling alleys have the best french fries.

Seriously...when's the last time you went to your local bowling alley and had some french fries?  Or anything fried?  We went to a birthday party yesterday for Farrah #1's step-son, (who's the same age as our twins) and we ordered half fries/half shrooms.  Washed 'em down with a cold Miller Lt (me) and a cold Coors Lt (her).   Then, cause it was a birthday party, we got free hot dogs...I was in white trash heaven.  After the birthday extravaganza the family and I went to see Iron Man.  Loyal readers, I'm tellin you if you haven't seen it yet..go immediately and see it.  Robert Downey Jr is phenomenal..the whole movie is amazing.  I loved it, the kids loved it, and The Hubby (who is a total comic book nerd)  loved it.  Plus..RObert Downey Jr looks really, really hot. 

Can I just say that I can't really remember when so many movies have been coming out that I'm actually excited to see.  I just looked at the summer movie schedule and from now until August 8, there are two weekends that don't have movies coming out that I want to see.  So, safe to say you can probably expect movie reviews.  There are two that are at the top of my list..for two totally separate reasons.  #1 -- Sex and The City.   Loved the show...was addicted to it.  I'm a Carrie, with a bit of Samantha thrown in for good measure.  My Russian friend and I have already scheduled our weekends around the premiere of that movie.  Not even kidding.  Cosmos and the movie...can't freaking wait.  Movie #2 that has me all a-tingle....June 13..The Incredible Hulk.  Starring my boyfriend...Edward Norton.  Have you seen the previews?  Hommahommahomma.  Everything he does is amazing and the fact that hes stepping slightly out of his genre and tackling the superhero field is fantastic.  I will be in the front row.  Probably panting.

Okay..I have to cut it a bit short this time.  We're on our way to my moms for bar-be-cue and potato salad (my choice).  She hasn't seen my tattoo yet, and fortunately its chilly enough that I can wear a long sleeve shirt and not have to explain to her.  Yes...I'm 31 years old and Im still scared of my mom.  And frankly, thats how it should be.
